Fourteen teams competed in a range of activities specifically modified for seniors in care. Local Member for Joondalup Ms Emily Hamilton MLA welcomed the participants and officially opened the games., thank you for your support of this uniquely West Australian event. Jim and Jenny’s Country provided entertainment before the games and at lunchtime, many thanks Jim and Jenny for your wonderful entertainment. Our oldest competitors on the day, both centenarians, sprightly 103 year old, Angela De Mori of Mercy Care All Stars took out the prize with 102 year old May Grant from Castledare running a close second. SRCWA thanks and acknowledges the hard work by the team from SRCWA State Branch volunteers, and individuals who helped to make this memorable event a great success for all the participants. We also would like to make special mention of the support from the team from Aggreko and the trustees from Wooroloo for their invaluable support.
