On Monday 13th May 2024 around 80 seniors attended the LiveLighter Seniors Activity -Information Day sponsored by LiveLighter Healthway, organised by SRCWA in partnership with the City of Vincent. This event showcases agencies who share their information and services via static displays with a wide variety of information for seniors. Thanks toAdvocare, APIA, Audika, City of Vincent, Council on the Ageing WA, Cricut, Diabetes WA, First Aid WA, Injury Matters, Innogreen Technologies, Meningitis Centre Australia, Plus Fitness North Perth, Rapport Holistic Home Care, SRCWA LiveLighter, UnitingWA Financial Wellbeing Svc, WA Seniors Card and Stroke Foundation for your support.
These days also provide seniors the opportunity to have a go at a variety of activities. The group of seniors at this event were very active and engaging trying their hand at, Pole Walking, Seated Hockey, Soft Archery, Reaction Testing (Thank you Fitness North) and Air Soccer to name a few. After a morning of activities and information gathering participants were treated to a healthy lunch of sandwiches, hot food, fruit & muffins.
