LiveLighter Seniors Activity -Information Day Leederville 2023

Around 80 seniors attended the LiveLighter Seniors Activity -Information Day sponsored by LiveLighter Healthway, organised by SRCWA in partnership with the City of Vincent. This event showcases agencies who share their information and services via static displays with a wide variety of information for seniors. Thanks to Advocare, Audika, City of Vincent – Library, Council on the Ageing WA, G&P Medical, Injury Matters, Karingal Green, NBN Co, NSC Legal-Older Peoples Rights Service, Rapport Holistic Home Care, Seniors Recreation Council/LiveLighter, and Stroke Foundation for your support.

These days also provide seniors the opportunity to have a go at a variety of activities. The group of seniors at this event were very active and engaging trying their hand at, Pole Walking, Table Tennis, Soft Archery and Air Soccer to name a few.  After a morning of activities and information gathering participants were treated to a healthy lunch of sandwiches, wraps, hot food, fruit & muffins.

At this event we had a competition where people filled in a form naming five exhibitors they visited and five activities they tried, and a final question of “What can we do to LiveLighter?”. The prize for the competition, a fantastic fruit basket, was won by a lady named Constance.  Constance thanked SRC for the enjoyable event we put together and enjoyed some varieties of fruit she had not been buying for a while because of cost.

Thank you to City of Vincent and SRCWA’s hard working volunteers for making this day a success.

The event was sponsored by our naming rights partner LiveLighter Healthway and supported by City of Vincent, the Government of Western Australia.

Remember “eat healthy meals and exercise daily to LiveLighter”.
