The 20th Joondalup LiveLighter Aged Care Games was held on Monday 4th September 2023 at Bouncer Sports Centre. Our team registrations grew this year from 8 to 14, the games were lots of fun and the teams that attended really had a good time. Participants take part in a variety of games which are played with enthusiasm and passion. These games for some participants become the highlight of their year with and is supported by facility staff running training sessions throughout the year. This year was especially delightful as the Barridale Super Girls had a team of young children from the intergenerational program run at Barridale come along and cheer them on.
SRCWA State President Phil Paddon our MC for the games did a great job, instructing the volunteers and managing the games, thanks Phil.
