The 18th Joondalup LiveLighter Aged Care Games was held on Monday 6th September 2021 at Bouncer Sports Centre. Our team registrations grew this year to 6, the games were lots of fun and the teams that attended really had a good time.

SRCWA State President Phil Paddon our MC for the games and did a great job, instructing the volunteers and managing the games, thanks Phil.  City of Joondalup Mayor Hon Albert Jacob officially opened the games and welcomed all those in attendance.

Jim and Jenny’s Country provided entertainment before the games and at lunchtime, many thanks Jim and Jenny for their wonderful entertainment.

The Best presented team on the day was The Umbrella Rock Stars. In third place was Woodlake Warriors, second place was RAAFA Red Devils and first place was Umbrella The Hawaiians. Our oldest competitors on the day a sprightly 98 year old, Maria Hawley of Umbrella The Hawaiians.

SRCWA thanks and acknowledges the hard work by the team from SRCWA volunteers, and individuals who helped to make this memorable event a great success.
