SRCWA Rockingham Branch Have a Go Day 2025 a LiveLighter Event.
On Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, seniors from Rockingham and the surrounding areas gathered for the 2024 Have a Go Day – a LiveLighter event, held at the Mike Barnett Sports Centre in the City of Rockingham. Dawn Yates SRCWA Executive Officer welcomed everyone to the event and invited City of Rockingham Mayor Deb Hamblin to open the event. Thank You Mayor Deb Hamblin
Around 1,200 people attended, exploring a wide variety of static displays and activities from clubs, groups, not-for-profit organizations, and commercial businesses. This year, attendees had the chance to take part in health checks and enjoy a range of fun activities, including Indoor Archery, Corn Hole (Bean Bag Toss), Carpet Bowls, Carpet Golf, Bob (Table Snooker), Handbells, Hart Sport Activities, Hover Soccer, Pickleball, Pole Walking, Quoits, Square Dancing, the Happy Feat Dance Group, and Table Tennis. It was an enjoyable day for everyone!

Wednesday 29th of March saw seniors from Rockingham and surrounding suburbs attend the 2023 Have a Go Day a Live_Lighter Event held at the Mike Barnett Sports Centre in the City of Rockingham – Local Government .
There was a wide range of static displays and activities on offer including Clubs, Groups Not for Profit and Commercial organisations.
